IOCL has implemented the Spheripol technology from LyondellBasell for polypropylene production at its Paradip refinery.
The technology is used for a 680,000-tonnes/year polypropylene unit, which was commissioned in February 2019. This unit integrates with the INDMAX unit of the Paradip refinery to use propylene as feedstock.
