The Refinery and petrochemicals plant sits on a land area of 1,000 hectares with four contiguous products and general cargo jetties lying on the Western fringe of the refinery, alongside the bank of river Yewa and North of Badagry lagoon & Bight of Benin.

The refinery process is equipped with advanced world-class technology, adopting the Chinese National Standard in its designs which has exclusive Chinese intellectual property. The process comprises of Atmospheric & Vacuum Distillation Unit, Catalytic Cracking Unit, Catalytic Gasoline Hydrogenation Unit, Kerosene Hydrogenation Unit, Diesel Hydro-Refining Unit, Catalytic Reforming Unit, Gas Fractionation Unit, MTBE Unit and Sulphur Recovery Unit.

The refinery is designed for high optimization, reliability and innovation to attain desired efficiency (in terms of feedstock inputs) and manpower utilization with strict adherence to regulatory standards. It is tailored to reduce investment cost, consumption, personnel and improve efficiency.
