In accordance with Yulin City’s “three transformations and three supplements” industrial development strategy, Yulin Energy Group has built an on-site resource transformation system based on coal-based multi-product and coal-salt gasification integration, explored the development path of modern fine coal chemical industry, and produced high-end and clean chemical products.

　　Jiaxian Salt Chemical's 1.2 million tons/year vacuum salt production project relies on the region's rich rock salt resources to produce industrial salt. The project was completed and put into production in October 2018.

　　Jingyi Chemical's 500,000 tons/year coal tar deep processing and multi-product project was completed and put into production at the end of October 2020. It was the first time in China to use the combined technology of fluidized bed + fixed bed coal tar hydrogenation. The company is an important coal-based aromatics producer in the region and can produce more than ten products including lignite, methanol, light diesel, naphtha, mixed xylenes, stabilized light hydrocarbons, liquefied petroleum gas, and ferrosilicon.

　　The 400,000-ton coal-to-ethylene glycol project adopts coal-to-syngas and other production processes to co-produce dimethyl carbonate, crude ethanol, mixed alcohols, sulfur, liquid oxygen, liquid nitrogen and other products.

　　The project of producing 1 million tons of methanol per year for deep processing of high-end chemicals and new materials has been launched, and the projects of producing 500,000 tons of epoxy resin per year and 5 million tons of coal-to-oil per year and co-producing 1 million tons of liquefied natural gas have been vigorously promoted. The energy and chemical industry is moving towards high-end, diversified and low-carbon development.
