- Description
-
M-sand, or manufactured sand, is produced through the crushing of hard rocks, resulting in a consistent particle size with angular and rougher particles due to the crushing process.
M-sand is widely used in construction for concrete production, plastering, and general construction where high-quality sand is imperative. The shape of M sand grains provides better bonding with cement and aggregate, resulting in higher strength and durability of the construction. The angular particles of M sand also reduce the risk of shrinkage cracks in concrete.
M sand is a reliable alternative to river sand in construction, offering the advantage of consistent particle size and quality. As it undergoes extensive washing and screening processes to remove impurities, the resulting M-sand is a cleaner and more reliable material.
