Description

Polyamide 6,6 (nylon 6,6 or PA 6,6) is a synthetic polymer from the polyamide family, produced by the polycondensation of Hexamethylenediamine and Adipic Acid. Each of these two monomers contains six carbon atoms, which is the origin of the "6,6" designation in the polymer’s name. This structure results in a highly durable, abrasion-resistant, and high-melting engineering plastic widely used in fibers, textiles, automotive components, and industrial applications.
