Founded in 1999, China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (short: CASC, Chinese name: 中国航天科技集团有限公司) is a major wholly state-owned enterprise under SASAC (State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission) and the primary contractor for China’s space program, responsible for the design, development, and manufacture of spacecraft, launch vehicles, missiles, and related technologies.

Beyond aerospace, CASC is active in machinery, chemicals, communications, and environmental technologies, and is the owner of the HT-L gasification process.

CASC is located at 16 Fucheng Road, Haidian District, Beijing, China (Chinese address: 阜成路16号 北京海淀区).
