Sinopec Maoming Petrochemical Co., Ltd., founded in 1955, is the first refining and chemical enterprise independently built by New China and the the largest refining and chemical enterprise in South China. Located in the western coast of Guangdong Province, the state-owned super-large enterprise was established by the merger and restructuring of Maoming Petrochemical Branch of Sinopec Group Asset Management Co., Ltd. and Maoming Petrochemical Company of Sinopec Group. The company and Maoming Branch of Sinopec Corporation are collectively referred to as Maoming Petrochemical.
