 in August 2012, Zhongtai Chemical Toksun Energy and Chemical Industrial Park took other the original park to promote the Toksun local advantage resource such as limestone, coal conversion, on the basis of original 500,000 tons of calcium carbide production capacity, investing one after anoother in 600,000 tons of calcium carbide and supporting 2 new 300,000 MW power station projects, 300,000 tons of high-performance resin, and acquiring of the former Sanchuan Cement Company, synchronous planning and construction of calcium carbide slag cement project, to build an integrated circular economy industrial park. The park has now an annual production capacity of 1.2 million tons of calcium carbide and 2x 300 million kilowatts of installed capacity.
