Modeling the Industry - From corporate structures to process flows
System Modules and Process Overview
1 Company Structure
- The Industry is represented by Legal Entities, which also include Service Providers, Technology Licensors and Investors
- Fully flexible Shareholding-Management, historical and outlook
- Shareholders also include Finance-Investors and publicly listed shares
- ppPLUS allows flexible mirroring of the real structures in the Industry
2 Operations & Plants
- Sites are organizations in which Entities operate and produce
- Production processes are modeled in the Sites and its Assets
- The Site's operation is structured in Assets and Units, analogue to Production Plants and resources in manufacturing
- Assets can be linked with a Technology, allowing the configuration of the Asset-Units as pre-defined in the Technology-Setup
3
Equipment &
Technology
- Units allow modeling of the Assets production resources (machinery)
- Units can mirror structures as defined by the Technology linked in the Asset
- Units link to external supply-sites allowing geographic modeling of product-flows
4 Products
- Products are structured in several hierarchical-categories and grouped in Main-Products and related Sub-Products
- Mass Balances can be defined with a generic Main-Product only. Further product-specification can be applied at any point
- ppPLUS allows detailed configuration and categorization of Products, with numerous chemical attributes and Unit-of-Measure calculations
5 Mass Balance
- Logical modeling of the Mass Balance with Import-, Processing- and Export- Functionality
- Fully embedded process, linked to all elements of the platform
- Documentation with step-by-step commentary and linked-references
